Pray For Revival (Psalm 85:6)

Pastor Gene JordanPastor Gene Jordan, January 16, 2011
Part of the Revival series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

David asked God a legitimate question in Psalms 85:6

Subject: revival |riˈvīvəәl| – noun – is an often misunderstood word
an improvement in the condition or strength of something
an instance of something becoming popular, active, or important again
a new production of an old play or similar work.
a reawakening of religious fervor,
a restoration to bodily or mental vigor

We are looking into Revival, Praying for Revival, being Revived, Reviving Ourselves, Being Revived by the Lord

We want God to send revival.
We want it in the world, in America, in Louisiana, in Arnaudville, in Abundant Grace and in Ourselves.

We must understand this one thing, that a healthy church is one that reaches out to the community. Therefore, whenever God takes the time to revive His church, He expects it to lead to a reaping of a harvest. Any revival that does not result in a harvest of the lost to Christ, is a revival wasted on the flesh.
