Woke up with this on my heart:

Proverbs 19:13-15
A foolish son is the ruin of his father, and the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping.
Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.
Laziness casts one into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger.

vs.13

Lord, I ask that You help me to be wise. I want to bring You joy and further Your kingdom. Holy Spirit, I submit to Your instruction, for there is none wiser than You. As the bride of Christ, I make myself to be content, and I refuse to complain about what life has “done to me.”
This also applies to my earthly father and my earthly wife. Help me Lord to make my dad proud, and help me to provide a place, that makes my wife feel secure.

vs.14

Father God, You have given me so much, and yet still have so much more for me. I submit myself to Your instruction, so that I may receive the legacy, that only You can provide. You have given me a wife that shares a “like faith” with me, and I love her willingness to serve You. When we serve You together, You have a team that will be able to overcome everything that this world can throw at us.
In the natural, I want to be the same kind of father. There are so many things that I could pass on to my kids, if they would only receive them. I pray that you would keep them, until they are willing to receive.

vs.15

Lord I ask your forgiveness for not acting more on those things, that You have shown me. You have revealed to me, and instructed me to do, certain things. I pray that my actions have brought a smile to Your face, and that they have been pleasing to You. I am so grateful to You, for Your grace that makes what I have failed in, perfect.
Lord, just like I would want my kids to see the urgency of my instruction to them, help me to see the urgency if the instruction that You have give to me.

Thank You Father God, for adopting me as your own.
Thank You Jesus, for loving me despite my shortcomings.
Thank You Sweet Holy Spirit, for instruction and wisdom that helps me overcome.

I shall not take You for granted, for time is short.
