Reacting to Storms

Anytime you react to life’s storms with panic rather than prayer to God, you will find yourself preyed upon by Satan.

Reacting to the moment is the fast track to slavery and bondage, and you will place yourself in a position that digs you in deeper. If you choose to stay in that mode of reactionary living, you will dig yourself in even more deeper.

It is not until you stop focusing on the situation, and ask for God’s saving grace and submit to His perfect will, that you will find Him drawing you out of that pit.

This is spoken from Gods Word and is confirmed by personal experience.

I was saved by Christ when I was 11, but for some reason, all through my 20’s I made plans that were based on reactions to momentary inconveniences, while trying to submit to the will of people. When I turned 30, I made the choice to submit to the Word of God, while seeking His will and learning His desires.

He removed me from that repetitive pit of slavery, gave me release from those who would sink me deeper, and lifted me up to walk in the power of His Word.

It breaks my heart to see those who looked back to Sodom and become a pillar of salt because they just couldn’t trust Jesus, but I trust that the Holy Spirit will guide them just as He has guided me.

I do not say all this to brag on me, but to brag on God. I need Him to control every part of my being, and I must pray while seeking and listening to His direction consistently.

There is no other way.
