Focus On The Battle

It seems that I must accept the fact that when it comes to sin, I am unable spread my focus too thin. For every battle I am able to “win” there are at least 20 that I “loose”.

That is the price paid for eating of the “Tree of Knowledge of Good And Evil”. Rather than only being concerned with my relationship with the Almighty and the joys that the “Tree of Life” offer, I am duped into trying to maintain righteousness and perfection on my own. I suffer from the many bombarding lusts of sin and the flesh as I “try” to do the right thing.

Thank You Lord Jesus for freeing me from being a slave to sin and from having to try to maintain my own form of twisted political correctness. By forsaking the walk of the flesh, I am given a new walk which is in the Spirit.

I now can allow Your Grace and Mercy to free me to focus my attentions on building my relationship with You, My God. Now I am made righteous and perfect in Your eyes. Nothing matters more to me than how You see me, because I know that You love me.
