You Don’t Need God

I see so many posts about poverty and standard of living. I see people say that if children are born into poverty, it would be better to abort them. I see people clambering to acquire stuff all around them, and no one considers that they really can have all they need.
You want to know what real poverty is? It is a life without Jesus Christ.
You want to raise kids in a wealthy household, raise them in a God fearing home.
Mark 8:36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Lets read that verse in reverse and reworded…
If a person gains his soul (walks in the ways of The Lord), yet looses all that the world offers, he still has great wealth.
I have friends in Louisiana who have lost a life’s worth of earthly wealth, but they are prosperous because they still have their faith in Jesus.
Let’s not forget that this nation has turned its back on God. Yes there is a remnant who haven’t, but by and large we are living in a Godless nation. Where it used to be “God bless America”, it is now “God we are wealthy, and no longer need you.”
You see all these natural disasters, economic declines, medical emergencies, murderous protests, and insane politics? This is what happens when we gain the world and forget God.
Do you really think you don’t need God? What if He were to do as we have asked, and totally leave us alone?
Well for one, we would all suffocate because He owns the air we breath. Then as we are suffocating in total empty space (the earth would get repossessed by its owner, God), our molecules would fall apart because He is the one that fills in the space between the atoms that holds us together. Finally there is Hell, where God doesn’t exist.
So we do need God, daily. Gaining Him is the greatest wealth we could acquire. The chaos in the world is a simple reminder that it is time to invite Him back into our nation, our families, and our personal lives.
Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
All this chaos in the world, is the creation of our own rebellion towards The Almighty.
So I ask you, are you ready to finally turn your eyes towards God, consider His authority, repent and allow Him to revive you?
Are you still so stupid that you think you “got this sorted” and it is ok to shake your fist at The Lord and scream that you don’t want Him?
Choice is yours. Walk wealthy in Him, or suffer death in poverty.
