The Best I Ever Had

Thinking about past Christmas gifts as a kid, and one that I fondly remember was a red Team Murray BMX with hand brakes and the motomag rims…

I loved that bike, mainly because it was a sign of “childhood freedom” to me.

As I think of the meaning of Christmas, it is to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The coming of Jesus was an awesome time for this world, though the world doesn’t seem to appreciate it.

We have God made flesh and dwelled among us, God laying down His life for us, and God returning from the dead to free us.

While the temporary possession of this bike seemed like freedom at the time, it compares very little to the freedom that Jesus give me.

My wish for all of you is that you not only have an awesome Christmas, but that you would allow the Lord to free you as well. The salvation of Christ, was the best gift I ever received.
